- 18 – 20 mixed media and fiber works by 9 artists: Ariea Berry, Jennifer Combe, Cortni Harant, Crystal McCallie, Shontee Salois-Johnson, Caitlin Shelman, Monica Thompson, Maura Whelan, Radium Woolf.
The Montana Art Education Association was established in the 1970’s by a group of dynamic art educators with a mission to provide opportunities for relevant professional development for the artist/ educators around the state as well as coordinate unique opportunities for the students we serve. The group of artists in the exhibition was brought together by a winter tretreat sponsored by the Montana Art Education Association in March of 2023. From that opportuntiy a collaboration ensued to bring this exhibition to fruitition with much thatnks to the University of Montana and MFA candidate Crystal McCallie.
The Montana Art Education Association is an affiliate of the National Art Education Association. The organization serves pre-kinders through college art educators working in schools, museums, and community arts centers. We encourage anyone who values the visual arts and visual arts education to become a member.
